JOB TITLE: Senior Fullstack Engineer - Kenya COMPANY: Software Estratégico ABOUT THE ROLE Software Estratégico is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Kenya. You'll take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications that serve our US-based clients. This role demands technical depth across both backend and frontend systems, combined with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll be the architect behind robust backend services built with .NET Core, C#, MVC, and Web API frameworks. On the frontend, you'll craft clean, reusable, and polished React.js components enhanced with Redux for state management. Your day-to-day work will include writing and optimizing complex SQL Server queries and stored procedures that keep our applications running efficiently. Beyond pure development, you'll own quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and functional testing. You'll debug and refactor existing applications to improve performance and maintainability while creating clear technical documentation. Direct collaboration with US-based clients and cross-functional teams will be central to your role—you'll translate requirements into solutions and provide production support when needed. Working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, you'll participate actively in ceremonies and collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure all solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You bring a minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, preferably spanning full stack roles. Your technical arsenal includes strong, hands-on proficiency with .NET Core and C#, proven expertise developing RESTful services via Web API, and solid professional experience building with React.js. You're comfortable with Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and you have strong SQL Server knowledge encompassing complex queries and stored procedures. You're experienced with Git and version control workflows, familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and understand the nuances of enterprise software development and release processes. Problem-solving comes naturally to you, and you can debug efficiently and independently manage multiple priorities. Your English proficiency is advanced (B2+/C1 level) with the ability to communicate seamlessly with US-based clients and stakeholders. NICE TO HAVE Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, or Blob Storage would be advantageous. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, familiarity with testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Karma, and previous client-facing experience with US-based companies are all welcome additions to your profile.
