Job Description
ASSOCIATE MARKET ACCESS SPECIALIST - ELDORET, KENYA
At Sokify, we're partnering with IQVIA to bring this exciting opportunity to the Kenyan healthcare sector. Join a global movement dedicated to transforming stroke care and saving lives.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Every 30 minutes, a stroke patient who could have survived faces permanent disability because they reached the wrong hospital. This role sits at the heart of changing that statistic. As an Associate Market Access Specialist, you'll work across West Kenya to build a network of stroke-ready hospitals and optimize patient outcomes. Based ideally in Nairobi, you'll travel extensively throughout the region—up to 70 percent of your time—establishing partnerships, driving improvements, and directly impacting how stroke patients receive care.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your mission centers on strengthening Kenya's stroke care infrastructure. You will increase efficiency in stroke patient management by supporting hospitals, emergency services, and healthcare professionals through tailored training and practical organizational tools. You'll position yourself as a trusted therapeutic consultant, introducing new diagnostic and treatment guidelines while championing quality monitoring programs that keep hospitals accountable to the highest standards. You'll expand the Angels Initiative to new facilities, lead multidisciplinary teams through continuous improvement initiatives, and work directly with major hospitals to refine and strengthen therapeutic protocols.
WHO YOU ARE
You bring a strong scientific foundation—preferably a PhD in Neuroscience or related field—combined with genuine passion for healthcare transformation. You're highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Fluent in English, you're flexible and solution-focused, thriving in fast-paced, unpredictable environments. You hold substantive experience working within healthcare organizations alongside medical professionals. You possess a valid Kenyan driving license, are an experienced driver, and hold full-time work eligibility in Kenya. Most importantly, you're proactive, resilient, and constantly seeking ways to improve processes and patient outcomes.
