ASSOCIATE REGIONAL STORE COORDINATOR Department: Operations Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Across Kenya Reports To: Zonal Store Manager ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Sun King is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Regional Store Coordinator to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be the backbone of inventory management across our retail centers and field-based agent networks throughout Kenya. You will travel regularly within your assigned region, working collaboratively with warehouse teams, retail executives, and sales personnel to ensure smooth operations and optimal inventory control. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Retail Center Operations & Management You will provide daily operational support to our retail centers by liaising with warehouse teams to maintain adequate stock levels and assisting retail executives in achieving their performance targets. You'll work with the sales team to identify improvement opportunities, conduct both scheduled and surprise inventory audits, and manage the handover process between retail center executives and their reliefs. Your role includes vetting relief staff for qualifications, coordinating payment processing for temporary workers, and representing the department in stakeholder meetings focused on inventory and retail management. Additionally, you will sit in on interviews during executive onboarding, collaborate with sales and marketing teams to scout potential new retail center locations, and oversee regular asset checks to ensure equipment remains in working condition. Inventory & Order Management You will initiate inventory movements between the warehouse and retail centers while resolving any delivery discrepancies. Your focus will be on ensuring all retail centers maintain proper inventory standards, including FIFO protocols and appropriate product packaging. You will coordinate inventory reconciliation exercises, validate obsolete and damaged stock for return to the warehouse, and engage field agents in periodic inventory verification. You will also stay informed about emerging supply chain trends that could enhance our inventory practices and recommend process improvements to management. Asset & Compliance You will ensure all retail centers maintain basic maintenance standards and comply with health and safety regulations, including proper display of permits and licenses. You will also liaise with the admin team to schedule repairs and manage landlord communications regarding facility issues. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Ideal candidates will hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Finance, or a related field, with two to three years of professional experience in supply chain, finance, or statistics. You should demonstrate knowledge of contract management and ERP systems, preferably SAP, with strong proficiency in Excel for managing large data volumes. Your ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
