CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management and Execution You'll drive day-to-day project implementation according to detailed plans, coordinate internal team efforts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs. You'll conduct research design work, oversee data collection and analysis, and create compelling client deliverables including reports, presentations, and policy briefs that inform critical decisions. Research and Analysis Your work will include managing fit-for-decision research methodologies, handling technical analysis tasks, and packaging results for client consumption. You'll translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable insights. Client and Stakeholder Engagement You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across government, NGO, and private sector contexts. You'll contribute to proposal development and help build awareness of IDinsight's work and sectoral learnings. Data Collection Leadership You'll oversee all aspects of data collection activities, manage data collection teams for quality assurance, and travel to project sites and client locations as needed—including remote and rural areas. Organizational Contributions You'll support team building initiatives, develop internal systems, contribute to office culture, and participate in professional development committees and company events. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and Skills Strong analytical abilities with exposure to econometrics, data analysis tools, quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Exceptional writing skills that translate technical content into clear, structured deliverables. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex topics and learn new concepts, methods, and software independently. Personal Attributes Highly organized with excellent deadline management and ability to handle substantial workloads efficiently. Outstanding interpersonal skills with comfort engaging diverse stakeholders from community members to senior government officials. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency with statistical software including Stata, SPSS, R, SurveyCTO, or Open Data Kit. Familiarity with local context and working knowledge of relevant local languages in your placement region. Background in economics, data science, policy research, development work, engineering, environmental science, political science, or public policy.
