JOB TITLE: Bilingual Provider Network Manager (French & English) – Senegal
EMPLOYER: The Cigna Group
CAREER LEVEL: Band 3 Senior Contributor – Provider Relations Senior Analyst
LOCATION: Senegal (Required)
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Join The Cigna Group's Africa Network Management team as a Bilingual Provider Network Manager and make a meaningful impact on healthcare access across the continent. We are looking for a professionally fluent French and English speaker based in Senegal to manage provider relationships, drive network growth, and deliver exceptional experiences to healthcare partners across Francophone and Anglophone African markets.
In this role, you will be the trusted liaison between Cigna and a diverse portfolio of healthcare providers including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, and physician groups. You will own the complete provider lifecycle – from initial onboarding through ongoing relationship management, performance monitoring, and strategic partnership development. Your bilingual capabilities will be instrumental in facilitating seamless communication, resolving complex issues, and advancing our network objectives across multiple African countries.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will manage provider relationships by developing and strengthening partnerships with healthcare providers across assigned African markets, serving as the primary relationship owner for your provider portfolio, and conducting regular meetings, business reviews, and site visits to maintain engagement and identify improvement opportunities.
You will lead provider onboarding efforts, ensuring providers understand operational processes, billing requirements, digital tools, policies, and service standards. You will deliver comprehensive training and education in both French and English as needed.
You will handle provider support and issue resolution by managing inquiries, complaints, escalations, payment concerns, and service-related issues through effective cross-functional collaboration. You will resolve provider challenges professionally while maintaining positive relationships and supporting providers through reconciliation and billing queries.
You will monitor provider performance and manage network development by tracking service delivery, operational KPIs, and reimbursement trends to identify risks and opportunities. You will analyze provider data and market trends to support network optimization and identify expansion opportunities.
You will maintain strategic market intelligence by staying informed about healthcare market dynamics, provider landscapes, and regulatory developments across Africa. You will provide regular recommendations to support network strategy and share insights with regional and global stakeholders.
You will prepare business reports, presentations, and provider performance updates while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across multiple countries, functions, and time zones.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You must be currently based in Senegal or authorized to work there. Professional fluency in both French and English is essential and non-negotiable – you must be able to conduct meetings and negotiations in both languages, prepare professional reports and communications, and engage confidently with providers across Francophone and Anglophone Africa.
You will have a minimum of three years' experience in Provider Relations, Provider Network Management, Network Operations, Healthcare Operations, Account Management, or a similar provider-facing role. Experience working directly with healthcare providers and managing external stakeholder relationships is required. Experience in regional or multi-country healthcare environments is highly desirable.
You possess strong relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships. You demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities in both French and English. You have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interpreting data and identifying improvements. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with advantageous experience using CRM or provider management systems. You are self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven, able to work effectively both independently and within multicultural, cross-functional teams.
You are willing and able to travel up to twenty percent of working time across Africa. You work effectively across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones. You are passionate about delivering exceptional service, strengthening provider partnerships, and improving healthcare access and provider experience across the continent.
WHY THIS MATTERS
This is your opportunity to shape provider relationships and network growth across Africa. Your bilingual expertise, relationship management skills, and healthcare network knowledge will directly contribute to expanding access to quality care, enhancing provider engagement, and building a world-class healthcare network across both Francophone and Anglophone markets.
We value our talented employees and encourage internal career growth whenever possible. If you meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply.
