CAREGIVERS Brightermonday Kenya is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and care to individuals, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. You will prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and ensure proper nutrition is maintained throughout the day. Where medically required, you will administer medications and monitor health conditions while maintaining detailed records of any changes. Beyond physical care, you will offer genuine companionship and engage individuals in stimulating activities that promote social interaction and mental wellbeing. You will provide transportation and accompaniment to medical appointments and social outings as needed. Administrative responsibilities include tracking appointments, managing medication schedules and documenting health status changes. You will also maintain a safe, hygienic and comfortable living environment that supports the individual's overall wellness. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You must have at least two years of prior work experience, preferably in caregiving or healthcare settings. A high school diploma is required, with further education being advantageous. CPR training and relevant job experience in care work are necessary qualifications. You should demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor, coupled with genuine compassion for those in your care. Flexibility is essential as the role may require working various shifts including nights. Above all, you must be reliable, patient and committed to delivering exceptional care.
