THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead all kitchen operations at our Mombasa location. This role demands a culinary leader who can oversee a dynamic kitchen team while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing innovative menus, supervising food preparation and plating, managing kitchen staff coordination, controlling inventory and food costs, and upholding rigorous safety and sanitation protocols. You will work directly to ensure every guest experiences exceptional quality with each meal served. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You bring extensive professional experience in seafood and Mediterranean cuisine preparation. You excel at managing a la carte hot kitchen operations in fast-paced environments. Your expertise includes menu design, advanced food presentation techniques, inventory management systems, and comprehensive kitchen safety compliance. You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate kitchen teams. You hold a formal culinary degree or can demonstrate equivalent professional experience at an executive chef level.
