ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a Senior Corporate Account Manager to drive sales performance for strategic power utility accounts across Southeast Florida. In this remote position, you'll represent Siemens' comprehensive utility solutions portfolio—spanning medium-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, distribution equipment, and renewable energy systems—to investor-owned utilities, independent power producers, and engineering-procurement-construction partners.
Your primary responsibility involves building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders including engineering, planning, and operations teams. You'll articulate complex technical value propositions, lead cross-functional sales initiatives supported by product and engineering teams, and manage high-value account strategies requiring executive-level engagement. Monthly business reviews, pipeline management, and strategic account planning form the core of your day-to-day activities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related STEM field required. You'll need a minimum of two years demonstrating exceptional performance in utility, energy, or infrastructure sales. Your track record should show consistent achievement or surpassing of annual sales targets valued at $20 million or higher. Prior success selling into investor-owned utility, independent power producer, EPC, and public power markets is mandatory. You must possess executive-level communication and negotiation abilities and be prepared to travel up to 50 percent. Authorization to work permanently in the United States without company sponsorship is required.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Strong existing relationships within utility networks, renewable developers, and regional engineering firms significantly strengthen your candidacy. Experience selling engineered-to-order solutions and complex hardware-software utility products is highly valued. Familiarity with account planning platforms and market intelligence tools, plus exposure to large deal or multi-year framework agreement sales cycles, distinguishes competitive applicants.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base salary range: $91,463 to $156,794 with uncapped commission potential. First-year total compensation expectations range from $155,000 to $200,000, depending on budget and experience. Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package included.
