DISPATCH SPECIALIST Twyford International Kenya Ltd. | Kajiado, Kenya | Full-time | Transport & Logistics Department ABOUT THE ROLE Twyford International Kenya Ltd. is looking for a meticulous and proactive Dispatch Specialist to manage our dispatch operations from our Kajiado facility. In this position, you will oversee the coordination of daily dispatch activities, maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments, track inventory movements, and ensure finished goods reach customers and distribution partners on schedule. We're seeking someone with a solid background in warehouse dispatch, logistics coordination, and dispatch documentation, ideally from a manufacturing or distribution setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will coordinate daily dispatch activities to guarantee orders are processed and shipped accurately and punctually. Your role includes verifying sales orders, delivery notes, invoices, picking lists, and all associated dispatch documentation. You'll work closely with warehouse teams to confirm that the right products in correct quantities are picked, checked, and loaded for shipment. Coordination with sales departments, transport providers, drivers, and customers will be essential to facilitate smooth deliveries on time. You will monitor delivery schedules proactively and follow up on any delayed, incomplete, or failed deliveries. Before any goods leave the facility, you'll ensure comprehensive documentation and proper authorization. Dispatch records and relevant enterprise resource planning systems, including SAP where used, will require regular updates from you. Reconciling dispatched quantities against approved orders and delivery paperwork will be part of your routine verification process. Your attention to detail extends to identifying, documenting, and reporting stock variances, loading mistakes, product damage, and other dispatch-related challenges to management. You'll prepare and maintain comprehensive dispatch reports and shipment records while ensuring adherence to company protocols, inventory control standards, and health and safety requirements. Finally, you will look for practical ways to enhance dispatch efficiency, accuracy, and processing speed. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS You should hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in dispatch, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution is required. You must demonstrate proficiency in dispatch documentation, stock movement control, and delivery coordination activities. Technical competency with Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications is essential. Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP and Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous. You will need strong attention to detail, excellent organizational capabilities, and solid problem-solving skills. Communication and coordination abilities are important for this role, along with your capacity to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight operational deadlines.
