We are seeking skilled professionals ready to support safe, efficient drilling operations in demanding environments while operating mechanical and hydraulic drilling equipment with precision and expertise. THE ROLE At the heart of rig operations, you will work directly with drilling teams to execute safe and flawless drilling operations. Your responsibilities will include operating drilling-floor tools and equipment, managing tubular handling, inspecting machinery, and maintaining drilling continuity through essential mechanical operations that support wellbore construction. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will operate drilling and tubular-handling equipment on the rig floor, including elevators, slips, spiders, mechanical tools, and hydraulic or pneumatic devices used during pipe handling and well construction. You will assist with running and pulling tubulars such as casing, drill pipe, and tubing, ensuring safe alignment, stabbing, latching, and connection integrity throughout drilling activities. You will conduct thorough inspections of tools and equipment before, during, and after drilling to ensure operational readiness and identify potential failures or safety hazards. Strong communication with drillers, rig floor operators, and supervisors will be critical as you coordinate the safe movement of tubulars, tools, and equipment. Your commitment to safety will be demonstrated through strict adherence to all drilling and client safety requirements, active participation in rig safety meetings, and constant hazard awareness on the rig floor. Additional responsibilities include supporting general rig-floor duties such as rig-up and rig-down assistance, basic equipment troubleshooting, and completion of operational documentation. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You should possess general knowledge of the oil and gas industry with direct exposure to drilling or tubular-handling operations. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate and understand mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools used on drilling rigs are essential. You must work effectively with drilling crews, supervisors, and subcontracted personnel while maintaining clear communication in high-pressure environments. A two-year technical degree is preferred, or equivalent technical training combined with relevant field experience. Previous industry experience and product-line exposure in drilling, tubular running services, or rig operations is valued, along with demonstrated ability to follow procedures and maintain safety compliance. You must be willing to work variable schedules including offshore assignments, shift-based work, and on-call duties while adapting to changing operational demands.
