Work Model: Fully Remote (Kenya-based) Employment Type: Full-time ABOUT THE ROLE David Kennedy Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly expanding UK ecommerce company to bring on board an E-Commerce Manager based in Kenya. This is your chance to take the helm of the company's ecommerce operations, transform product listings and data feeds, and drive measurable growth in online visibility, customer conversions and sales across a diverse portfolio of brands. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will own and manage WooCommerce and WordPress ecommerce platforms, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your focus will include maintaining and optimising Google Merchant Centre accounts, troubleshooting product disapprovals and feed errors that impact visibility, and uploading quality product content including titles, descriptions, images and pricing information. You'll oversee product organisation through categories, variations, inventory management and shipping details while continuously refining Google Shopping performance and ecommerce SEO. Using Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Google Merchant Centre, you'll monitor platform metrics to identify performance trends and opportunities for improvement. Your strategic mindset will drive conversion rate optimisation and guide website plugin selections and integrations that enhance operations. You'll also champion initiatives that boost online visibility, elevate customer experience and unlock new sales potential. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You bring hands-on expertise in WooCommerce and WordPress platforms paired with proven success managing Google Merchant Centre accounts and product feed operations. Your background includes optimising ecommerce product catalogues with a solid grasp of ecommerce SEO, product feeds and conversion rate optimisation strategies. You're naturally detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness, capable of working independently while taking full ownership of your domain. Your analytical mind excels at problem-solving, and you communicate with clarity and professionalism in written and verbal English. Bonus qualifications include experience with Google Shopping, Performance Max or Google Ads; feed management tools like Channable or DataFeedWatch; online marketplaces, email marketing campaigns or product image enhancement; or specialised product categories like personalised or made-to-order items.
