Field Engineer, CWI

FIELD ENGINEER, CWI Baker Hughes invites experienced engineers to join our dynamic Field Engineering team in Kenya. As a Field Engineer specializing in Coiled Tubing Well Intervention, you'll serve as the critical link between our on-site operations and clients, delivering technical excellence and exceptional service on every project. YOUR ROLE You will oversee the technical and operational aspects of field deployments, acting as the primary point of contact between crew members, customers, and our shore-based management team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the deployment of specialized tools and services, troubleshooting complex technical challenges hands-on at job sites, and managing equipment logistics for both incoming and outgoing materials. You'll also contribute to tender preparation through data analysis and cost estimation, handle invoicing activities, and participate in structured job shadowing to develop comprehensive business understanding. Where appropriate, you may lead crew operations to ensure equipment installation, maintenance, and commissioning meet our exacting standards while exceeding customer expectations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR To thrive in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or a related discipline. You must demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communication abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and genuine aptitude for collaborative teamwork. We require applicants to be Kenyan citizens with legal authorization to work in Kenya without sponsorship. You should possess solid leadership capabilities, critical thinking abilities, numerical proficiency, and competence in data analysis and project management.
