FIELD OPERATOR - TCP/WIRELINE Position Overview Are you ready to launch your career with a world-class energy technology leader? Baker Hughes is seeking a dedicated Field Operator to join our Wireline and Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP) Services team. In this role, you'll work directly on wellsites, delivering essential support to our global customer base while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Your Role and Responsibilities As a Field Operator, you'll perform a variety of critical tasks that keep our wireline and TCP operations running smoothly: Execute preventative maintenance on wireline winches and surface equipment while ensuring all work complies with our established HSE standards and operational procedures. Prepare equipment, conduct thorough pre-job and post-job tool checkouts, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Permit to Work systems before operations commence. Assist in assembling risk assessments and preparing equipment documentation for both onshore and offshore projects. Support TCP operations setup, including safe and efficient rigging of TCP equipment at the wellsite and in our facilities. Perform equipment repairs and maintenance under supervision, with focus on pressure control systems and downhole tools. Conduct pre-operational inspections of wireline units and related equipment to ensure readiness. Maintain downhole tools and perform basic wellhead maintenance activities. Prepare operational and quality reports in accordance with Company standards. Attend Client QHSE meetings and ensure full compliance with all safety and environmental procedures throughout every task. What We're Looking For Technical diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years of field experience in wireline TCP service delivery with proven commitment to safety-focused operations Sound mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving abilities Demonstrated experience working with explosives in controlled environments Strong communication and teamwork capabilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Current local certifications and medical clearances as required by applicable regulations Why Join Us This is your opportunity to work alongside talented professionals who are committed to reshaping the energy industry.
