Job Description
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, KENYA
ABOUT CORD
Cord is an established international non-governmental organisation headquartered in the United Kingdom with a substantial operational presence across Africa and Asia. With five decades of experience delivering humanitarian relief, development initiatives, and peacebuilding programmes, Cord works directly with communities navigating conflict, marginalisation, and systemic inequality. The organisation operates on a core principle that genuine development flourishes when constructive relationships exist between government bodies, civil society organisations, local communities, and the private sector. This foundation enables meaningful dialogue, effective dispute resolution, and the building of mutual trust. Through this relationship-centred model, Cord contributes to more inclusive development outcomes, strengthens governance structures, and advances the realisation of fundamental human rights.

This position requires someone with strong financial acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining the highest standards of organisational governance and donor accountability.
