FINANCE CONTROLLER SnapStar Talent ABOUT THE ROLE SnapStar Talent is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead our financial operations with a distinctive blend of accounting expertise and technology proficiency. You will be the driving force behind our financial systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across all branches while optimizing our technology infrastructure. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Systems and ERP Leadership You will drive the deployment, customization, and enhancement of our ERP systems to meet evolving business needs. Design and implement automated workflows that streamline financial reporting processes and reduce manual intervention. Identify and resolve system inconsistencies between sub-ledgers and the general ledger, ensuring data integrity. Generate comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that provide clear visibility into our financial position. Inventory and Multi-Branch Operations Oversee real-time inventory tracking across all warehouse locations to maintain accurate stock records. Ensure seamless integration between our Point of Sale systems and backend accounting modules. Conduct thorough digital and physical audits across all branch locations. Standardize financial processes across branches and train staff on financial software usage and data security best practices. Tax Compliance and Regulatory Management Manage all electronic tax submissions through KRA iTax and TIMS/eTIMS platforms. Maintain comprehensive digital logs and documentation to facilitate smooth external audits. Implement and enforce cybersecurity controls to protect access to financial systems. Ensure full compliance with KRA regulations and IFRS accounting standards. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You must hold an active CPA(K) certification in good standing and possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce. You bring a minimum of five to seven years of senior finance experience with demonstrated exposure to IT projects. Your technical skillset includes power-user proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics. You demonstrate strong competency in SQL, data analytics platforms like Power BI or Tableau, and advanced Excel functionality. A background managing inventory-heavy systems or retail supply chains is essential. An IT degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Information Systems is highly advantageous and will strengthen your candidacy.
