Finance Coordinator - Nairobi About Legal Action Worldwide Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to advancing human rights and accountability across the globe. Our mission centers on supporting survivors of human rights violations and international crimes through survivor-centered, gender-sensitive, and trauma-informed approaches to justice. We combine the expertise of human rights lawyers and jurists to create meaningful pathways to justice and accountability. Operating across 18 countries in conflict-affected regions, LAW works directly with survivors and communities to strengthen their capacity to engage with justice processes. We simultaneously provide technical support to justice institutions, helping them deliver effective accountability, and collaborate with legislators to advance the rule of law. Our approach integrates strategic litigation at national, regional, and international levels with advocacy and capacity-building initiatives designed to create lasting systemic change. Role Overview As Finance Coordinator based in Nairobi, you will provide essential financial management support to LAW's operations, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with the finance and program teams to maintain strong financial controls, support budgeting processes, and ensure all financial transactions align with organizational standards and donor requirements. This position is integral to enabling LAW's mission by maintaining the financial systems and processes that support our justice and accountability work across multiple countries and communities.
