Role Summary Fuzu Atlas is recruiting talented Technical Photographers for a global image collection initiative, available on a freelance consultancy basis. This assignment combines photography expertise with systematic data collection, requiring you to capture high-quality RAW images across varied environments while maintaining strict quality and technical standards. This is not traditional photography work. Success here depends on consistency, precision, meticulous attention to detail, and your commitment to following image collection protocols at scale. You will move throughout your region, documenting diverse locations and environments. The ideal candidate works confidently alone, manages substantial image volumes, and consistently delivers technically sound photographs within defined quality parameters. Key Responsibilities Image Capture and Collection You will photograph high-quality subjects across multiple locations and environments, producing visually compelling work with strong composition and technical accuracy. All images must align with project-specific requirements and established quality benchmarks. Field Operations Independently travel within your city, town, or surrounding area to scout and photograph diverse settings including residential zones, commercial districts, urban landscapes, natural environments, and public spaces. Plan your routes autonomously and identify appropriate locations based on project needs. Technical Precision Capture consistent image sets that match project specifications. When required, recreate scenes with accuracy, maintaining consistent framing, perspective, focus, and lighting across multiple shots. Quality and Compliance Standards Deliver all images exclusively in native RAW format with complete EXIF metadata preserved. Follow all specified naming conventions, labeling protocols, and submission requirements. Maintain strict adherence to project quality guidelines without exception. Asset Management Organize, label, and upload files following project protocols. Handle all project materials securely. Meet all submission deadlines and production targets. Essential Requirements Technical Credentials You must demonstrate proven photography experience supported by a portfolio. You own a DSLR or mirrorless camera manufactured in 2014 or later, capable of RAW capture. You possess solid technical knowledge across exposure control, composition, focus and depth of field, dynamic range management, white balance, and natural lighting. You can operate your camera in manual or semi-manual modes with confidence and maintain a dependable internet connection suitable for uploading large image files. You are available to commence work immediately. Field and Mobility Requirements You are comfortable moving throughout your locality capturing images from varied locations. You can dedicate extended periods to field-based photography work. You operate confidently in both indoor and outdoor settings independently. Access to reliable transportation is beneficial for this role. Preferred Experience Previous participation in image collection or data collection projects strengthens your candidacy. Experience producing significant quantities of RAW images, working with metadata and file management systems, or specialized photography in architectural, documentary, street, landscape, or commercial genres is advantageous. Compensation Structure This is a freelance consultancy role with performance-based compensation. You are paid according to the number of images that successfully pass quality review and satisfy all technical and project criteria. Only approved images qualify for payment. You may submit as many qualifying images as you capture and deliver within project timelines. Greater productivity combined with sustained quality generates higher earning potential. Payment rates and detailed project guidelines will be provided to selected candidates. Selection Process Qualified candidates will participate in a photography assessment measuring composition and visual storytelling ability, technical image quality, exposure and dynamic range management, RAW workflow compliance, attention to detail, instruction adherence, and overall project fit.
