GROUP WORKSHOP MANAGER Isinya Feeds About the Opportunity Isinya Feeds is a key player in Kenya's poultry value chain, supporting farmers and contributing to food security across the nation. As we expand and modernise our operations, we're looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager who can lead with both disciplined daily execution and forward-thinking maintenance strategy. What You'll Do Operations Management Run an efficient, well-organised workshop through structured scheduling, effective supervision, and consistent on-time job completion. You'll oversee maintenance of vehicles, tractors, trailers, generators, and other fixed assets managed by the workshop. Quality and Standards Maintain the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and regulatory compliance. Zero tolerance for shortcuts that compromise quality or put people at risk. Problem Solving Dig into recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes that improve asset uptime and reduce breakdowns. Team Leadership Lead, manage, and develop mechanics, technicians, fabricators, and support staff with fairness, clarity, and accountability. Technical Expertise Stay current with technical developments across the fleet, power generation systems, and all workshop-managed equipment. Performance Management Drive measurable results through strong KPIs, accurate reporting, cost control, and continuous practical improvements. What We're Looking For Seven years or more of hands-on experience in workshop, fleet, plant, or maintenance operations, with at least three years in a management role. A Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a closely related field. Deep technical knowledge of automotive, mechanical, plant, or generator maintenance systems. The ability to create plans and execute them with discipline and urgency in a fast-paced operational environment. Strong judgment, professional presence, and the confidence to make tough decisions when standards or safety are at stake. A track record of success in demanding operational roles.
