Housekeeping Supervisor

HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR ABOUT THE ROLE Sokify is partnering with Marriott to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor who will be the backbone of our accommodation service operations. In this position, you'll maintain exceptional cleanliness and quality standards across all guest-facing areas while leading and developing our housekeeping team. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and facilities to verify cleaning standards have been met. You'll manage daily operations by running occupancy reports, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing cleaning schedules, and communicating room status updates to the Front Desk. Acting as a critical link between multiple departments, you'll coordinate seamlessly with Housekeeping management, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry teams to resolve operational issues efficiently. As a supervisor, you'll take an active role in building and maintaining our team. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, training, and scheduling staff; conducting performance evaluations; providing constructive feedback; and fostering a positive, motivated work environment. You'll ensure all team members understand company standards and safety protocols while maintaining comprehensive documentation of daily activities and any issues that arise. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity Housekeeping Background: 3-4 years of hands-on housekeeping experience, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment You'll demonstrate proficiency with property management systems and point-of-sale technology. Your physical capability must include the ability to lift up to 55 pounds independently, push and pull loaded housekeeping carts across varied surfaces, and remain mobile throughout extended shifts. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments are essential.
