Through our platform, we're helping On Demand Distribution House find their next Human Resources Associate in Nairobi. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY On Demand Distribution House is looking for a strategic and organized Human Resources Associate to become the backbone of their people operations. In this role, you'll manage the complete employee lifecycle while driving HR excellence across a dynamic FMCG environment. You'll report directly to the CEO/Founder and influence how the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. WHAT YOU'LL DO Your responsibilities span the entire HR spectrum. You'll lead recruitment from job posting through final selection, managing talent pipelines for critical positions and conducting culture surveys to strengthen organizational identity. Your onboarding expertise will ensure new hires transition smoothly, while you develop policies and oversee probation reviews. In employee relations, you'll handle disciplinary matters and grievances with sensitivity and compliance, maintain comprehensive employee records, and ensure job descriptions remain aligned with evolving roles. You'll also take charge of payroll operations, processing monthly data, managing statutory deductions including NSSF, SHIF, and PAYE, and maintaining accurate records that employees can easily access. Your HR systems knowledge will drive reporting on headcount, turnover, and compliance metrics. You'll develop and implement a comprehensive HR Policy Manual that reflects Kenya's labour laws and occupational health standards. You'll design and manage performance management frameworks, conduct quarterly appraisals, and establish KPIs across departments. Additionally, you'll identify training needs, facilitate skill-building initiatives, and champion cultural programs that inspire engagement and professionalism. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field, backed by valid CHRP certification. You bring three to five years of HR operations experience, ideally within FMCG, and possess deep knowledge of Kenyan labour laws. You're proficient in HR systems like Workpay or Odoo, with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. Above all, you demonstrate integrity, handle confidential information responsibly, and thrive in fast-paced environments where multitasking is essential.
