HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER | MAF RETAIL | HYPERMARKET KENYA ABOUT THE ROLE Sokify is partnering with Majid Al Futtaim to recruit a Human Resources Officer who will be the backbone of our HR operations. In this position, you'll manage essential administrative functions that keep our people operations running smoothly. You'll handle employee records with meticulous care, orchestrate seamless onboarding experiences for new team members, and ensure all HR documentation meets our high standards. Your work will directly support the employee experience by coordinating interviews, managing leave records, and fielding employee questions with professionalism and empathy. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Maintain comprehensive employee records and HR files with accuracy and organization. Coordinate the entire onboarding journey for new employees, from document collection to orientation logistics. Oversee attendance tracking and leave management systems to ensure data integrity. Schedule and arrange interviews, meetings, and employee-related appointments with precision. Draft HR correspondence, official letters, reports, and internal communications. Address employee inquiries promptly and connect them with the right HR contacts. Safeguard employee information with complete confidentiality and professional discretion. Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and support broader HR administrative projects. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. Zero to two years of practical experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, or office administration. Excellent organizational abilities with demonstrated multitasking capability and sharp attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that build positive working relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proven ability to manage sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
