IMPORTS & EXPORTS OFFICER ABOUT THE ROLE Imexolutions is seeking a skilled Imports & Exports Officer to manage end-to-end import and export operations. In this position, you will oversee customs clearance processes, coordinate with freight forwarding partners, and ensure seamless international logistics execution. Your responsibilities will include handling shipping and trade documentation, managing supplier and clearing agent relationships, tracking shipments for cost optimization, and resolving any logistical issues that arise. You will play a crucial role in maintaining supply chain efficiency and ensuring timely delivery of goods across international borders while generating comprehensive logistics reports. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You should hold a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in imports, exports, and customs operations. A strong understanding of Kenyan customs regulations and international trade practices is essential. You must demonstrate proficiency in shipping and trade documentation procedures and be comfortable working with ERP systems and MS Office applications. Professional certifications such as CIPS or CIFFA are highly valued. Above all, you should be detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining composure under pressure.
