POSITION OVERVIEW This position sits within the Infrastructure Management Section (IMS) of the Information and Communications Technology Service (ICTS), which forms part of the Division of Administrative Services at the Nairobi duty station. Reporting to the Chief of UNON/ICTS/IMS and working under the general direction of the Chief of UNON/ICTS, you will exercise advanced operational oversight and provide technical leadership for infrastructure operations managed through service provider arrangements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent will lead coordinated infrastructure operations, manage service provider relationships, and deliver strategic technical oversight of IT infrastructure systems supporting UNON's mission-critical operations across multiple UN entities. REQUIREMENTS This role requires a tertiary degree in information technology, computer science, systems engineering, or a related discipline, coupled with relevant professional certifications. Candidates must demonstrate significant work experience in information systems management, infrastructure operations, or IT service delivery. Proficiency in English is essential, with additional UN language capabilities considered an advantage.
