Logistics Coordinator - Nairobi

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR - NAIROBI About the Role LSC Global Logistics is expanding its operations and looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our Nairobi team. This position plays a critical role in keeping our supply chain moving smoothly, managing shipment data, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. What You'll Do You will manage shipment forecasting by analyzing upcoming 30, 60, and 90-day freight data for both OFCI and CFCI shipments. Your analysis will provide the project team with clear assessments and actionable next steps, helping us meet Standard Delivery Dates and Required Delivery Dates consistently. Data accuracy is central to this role. You'll execute updates in our Supply Chain Management (SLM) system, identify and resolve data issues, and develop process improvements across departments and sites. Your insights from the data will guide decision-making for LSC Global Logistics and our supply partners. You'll ensure all received goods are closed out within 72 hours, proactively tracking exceptions and errors to maintain data integrity. This includes adding NIT numbers to SLM to facilitate clear customer communication. Your contribution extends to dock meetings where you'll present relevant data to Project Managers, Demand Planning Specialists, and logistics teams, enabling them to make informed business decisions. You'll also provide direct support to our Project Management base, resolving issues, explaining SLM data discrepancies, and processing transportation requests.
