About the Opportunity As an Operations Specialist focused on Driver Growth, Planning & City Expansion, you'll be instrumental in launching and scaling our services into secondary cities throughout Kenya. Your mission: establish a sustainable driver supply network, orchestrate city expansion strategies, and maintain the delicate equilibrium between driver availability and customer demand. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll combine analytical rigor with execution excellence. You'll own the complete driver acquisition journey, transform raw data into actionable growth strategies, and partner with local teams and colleagues across Marketplace, Driver Engagement, and Rider functions to build thriving local marketplaces. Your Core Responsibilities You will own the entire driver acquisition funnel, from initial outreach through activation and sustained performance tracking. You'll expand the driver base using scout programs, referral initiatives, and emerging acquisition channels to hit growth targets. You'll enhance the onboarding experience by optimizing driver engagement centres, workshops, and compliance protocols. You'll continuously monitor activation quality and early retention benchmarks at 7 and 30 days post-signup, pinpointing and resolving friction points across onboarding, compliance, and activation workflows. You'll develop structured expansion playbooks for new and secondary cities, collaborate with marketplace teams to balance supply against demand fluctuations, execute localized campaigns that attract both drivers and customers, monitor performance dashboards and growth metrics, distil insights into prioritized action plans with supply forecasts, and coordinate across teams to drive unified marketplace performance. What We're Looking For You bring 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operations, logistics, mobility, or marketplace environments. You're proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and performance dashboards, comfortable in fluid, high-velocity settings, and capable of balancing fieldwork with analytical depth. You communicate with clarity and confidence, work well across teams and hierarchies, and hold a genuine passion for mobility innovation and operational excellence. Experience in Kenya or comparable markets is valuable but not essential.
