The Opportunity We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to strengthen our quality systems across Finwerd's East African operations. In this role, you will oversee the implementation and enhancement of comprehensive quality assurance and food safety systems, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and customer expectations. You will be the backbone of our product quality monitoring, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality inspections and compliance checks, managing audit processes and corrective action programmes, investigating product non-conformances and customer complaints, and maintaining detailed quality documentation. You will work closely with multiple departments to embed quality excellence throughout our operations. What We're Looking For You are a methodical, analytical professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for food safety excellence. You possess deep knowledge of quality assurance frameworks including GMP, HACCP, and food safety systems. Your problem-solving abilities are matched by your reporting and communication skills, enabling you to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can juggle multiple priorities and contribute meaningfully to cross-functional teams. Your Background You hold a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related discipline. You bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, food safety, or compliance within the food and beverage sector. Experience with food manufacturing, ingredient distribution, or FMCG companies is highly valued. Professional certifications in food safety or quality management are advantageous. Why Join Finwerd?
