Position Title: Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer
Organization: International Organization for Migration (IOM)
About the Role
The International Organization for Migration, a leading United Nations agency established in 1951, is seeking a Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer to support the advancement of ethical standards and organizational integrity across our operations. This position sits within the Office of Ethics and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment, specifically within the Ethics and Conduct Unit.
In this role, you will play an important part in strengthening IOM's commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability—values that are central to our institutional strategy. You will work directly under the Chief of the Ethics and Conduct Unit, providing essential support in delivering ethics guidance, conducting training initiatives, and fostering a culture where all personnel feel empowered to speak up while being protected against retaliation.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will include providing impartial policy guidance on ethical issues and concerns affecting IOM staff; delivering training and outreach programs across regional offices; supporting initiatives that promote ethical conduct and prevent misconduct; managing the organization's annual conflict of interest disclosure program; and advising IOM personnel on ethical matters and our Standards of Conduct.
About IOM
IOM is committed to promoting humane and orderly migration that benefits all. Operating across the globe with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners, we save lives, protect vulnerable people on the move, provide solutions to displacement, and facilitate pathways for regular migration.
Workplace Commitment
IOM is dedicated to building a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace where all employees can develop professionally and feel valued. We welcome applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and provide reasonable accommodation throughout our recruitment process.
This is a professional-level position open to both first-tier and second-tier candidates, with particular encouragement for qualified female applicants and candidates from underrepresented IOM member states.
