RESERVATIONS AGENT Marriott International, Inc ABOUT THIS ROLE Join Marriott International as a Reservations Agent and become the first point of contact for guests planning their stays. In this customer-facing position, you'll manage reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations through phone, fax, and mail channels. Your expertise in matching guest needs with appropriate accommodations while applying revenue-optimizing sales techniques will directly contribute to guest satisfaction and business success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing reservations and changes, identifying guest requirements and determining suitable room types, confirming availability and rates, and explaining our guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies. You'll handle special requests with care, document them accurately, and answer inquiries about property facilities and room features. Using our reservation system, you'll input and access guest data, apply correct codes for special reservation types such as employee discounts and travel agent rates, and escalate guest concerns through proper channels when needed. Beyond transactions, you'll embody Marriott's commitment to exceptional hospitality. This means maintaining professional appearance and demeanor, welcoming guests warmly, anticipating their service needs, and treating all individuals with respect and genuine appreciation. You'll communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, contributing to a positive team environment while upholding confidentiality and protecting both company assets and guest privacy.
