THE ROLE
As our Stamp Canceler, you'll play an essential part in maintaining document integrity and security across our event operations. This position involves both manual and mechanical stamp cancellation on certificates, official documents, and event materials, ensuring proper validation and preventing unauthorized reuse. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include sorting and organizing materials requiring cancellation, applying cancellation marks according to established protocols, authenticating stamps, and maintaining meticulous records of all processed items. You'll also manage stamping equipment upkeep, flag any irregularities or discrepancies for investigation, and work closely with event coordinators and administrative teams to ensure seamless document processing. During peak event periods, you may provide support with general clerical duties. Throughout all activities, you'll adhere to rigorous quality assurance and security standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and precision when handling, inspecting, and canceling stamps and official documents. You possess fundamental administrative skills with proven ability to organize files, track processed materials, and maintain accurate records. You're committed to following standardized procedures, security protocols, and quality control requirements consistently. You communicate effectively and work collaboratively with event staff and office teams. You're dependable and flexible, ready to adjust your schedule during high-volume event periods. You're comfortable using basic mechanical or manual stamp-canceling equipment and eager to develop proficiency with tools. High school completion or equivalent qualification is required; previous experience in clerical, mailroom, or document-handling positions strengthens your application, though we welcome motivated candidates without prior background. Any vocational or office training you've completed is a plus.
