TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR KENYA (6-MONTH CONTRACT) Mars Snacking is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Nairobi team on a temporary basis. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping how candidates experience Mars throughout our recruitment journey. You'll manage interview scheduling, coordinate logistics across multiple locations, and handle key reporting that helps us maintain our reputation as a top employer across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. ABOUT THE ROLE This is your chance to be the welcoming face of Mars to every candidate we meet. You'll coordinate seamless interview experiences—whether virtual or in-person—manage calendars across different time zones, and ensure all documentation is accurate and accessible. You'll partner closely with line managers to keep our selection process running smoothly while generating insights from our recruitment data. Every interaction you have represents Mars, and you'll help build our employer brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR You should hold a university degree, ideally with postgraduate qualifications in HR or a related field. If you're a recent graduate, bring strong administrative experience or a demonstrated commitment to learning quickly. You're comfortable juggling schedules across multiple time zones and have solid technical skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and applicant tracking systems like Workday. You thrive in collaborative environments, maintain composure under pressure, and bring excellent organizational and communication abilities. Most importantly, you genuinely care about delivering outstanding candidate experiences. WHAT YOU'LL DO Greet candidates with warmth and provide them with the information they need to feel confident about their application. Schedule and manage interviews for both candidates and assessors, coordinating both virtual and on-site arrangements. Pull together key recruitment reports and extract meaningful insights to inform our strategy. Represent Mars values in every conversation, building a strong employer reputation. Coordinate with line managers to ensure smooth handoffs through screening and selection stages. Keep our applicant tracking system updated and organized so nothing falls through the cracks.
