TANZANIA MARKET ACCESS LEAD (FIXED-TERM)
One Acre Fund
About One Acre Fund
Since 2006, One Acre Fund has been transforming agricultural productivity across Africa by equipping 5.5 million smallholder farmers with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. The impact speaks for itself—farmers in the program typically see their income and assets increase by over 35 percent while building long-term resilience in their operations. This success is driven by a dedicated workforce of more than 9,000 full-time employees representing diverse backgrounds and expertise.
The Tanzania Program
One Acre Fund's Tanzania operations, established in 2013, currently serve more than 100,000 farmers across the country. The program provides access to quality farm supplies and fruit tree seedlings, supported by a network of offices strategically positioned to serve farming communities. The organization maintains its primary headquarters in Iringa, with additional regional offices located in Mbeya and Njombe in the southern highlands, and Moshi in the northern regions. This geographic presence enables the team to deliver localized support and maintain strong connections with farming communities throughout the country.
