We're now hiring enthusiastic and customer-focused Trolley Attendants to join a prominent retail operation. Working directly with our client's team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience while maintaining store operations and cleanliness standards. Your responsibilities will span customer assistance, merchandise handling, and trolley management across the retail environment. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for packing customer purchases efficiently into bags and trolleys with care and organization. You'll actively assist customers in transporting their items throughout the store and to their vehicles when needed. Part of your role involves collecting trolleys from throughout the store premises and parking areas, ensuring they're returned promptly to designated collection points. You'll maintain adequate trolley availability by keeping bays well-stocked throughout trading hours. Additionally, you'll identify and retrieve items customers have left behind at various store locations, returning them to their proper shelves. Finally, you'll perform regular cleaning and maintenance on all trolleys using provided materials, ensuring they remain in excellent condition. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods while working comfortably in outdoor conditions and varying weather. A genuinely friendly, polite, and customer-focused demeanor is essential to success in this role. We value honesty, punctuality, and your ability to follow directions consistently. Strong teamwork skills and a genuine willingness to learn are important qualities for our team. You should communicate effectively in English and/or Kiswahili. While previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Minimum educational requirement: KCSE or equivalent qualification.
