Operating in nine countries, the organization supports 5.5 million farmers with comprehensive agricultural solutions including quality farm inputs, tree seedlings, affordable credit, modern farming training, and additional agricultural services. This integrated approach has proven effective, with farmers typically achieving more than 35 percent increases in income and assets while strengthening their long-term resilience. The organization employs over 9,000 full-time staff representing diverse backgrounds and expertise. ABOUT OUR KENYA PROGRAM Our Kenya operations, launched in 2006 under the Tupande brand, have grown significantly. The program is anchored by a headquarters team of approximately 500 staff based in Kakamega, who coordinate support for 1,747 field staff serving over 1 million farmers across the country. An additional 50-person team in Nairobi manages critical functions including procurement, recruitment, government relations, and other enterprise-wide support services. THE ROLE We are recruiting a Tupande Extension and Aggregation Supervisor for a roaming position. This is a fixed-term role designed for a dynamic professional who can work effectively across multiple locations to strengthen our farmer support networks and aggregation efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES You will oversee extension and aggregation activities across designated areas, supervising field teams, ensuring quality service delivery to farmers, and building farmer cooperatives and producer groups that enhance market access and income potential. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you should bring proven experience in agricultural extension, farmer mobilization, and team supervision within smallholder contexts. Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to thrive in dynamic field environments are essential.
