Our team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and delivering measurable results for our clients across Kenya and beyond. THE OPPORTUNITY This is not a traditional graphic design role. We are looking for a Visual Hook Designer who can drive engagement across our three flagship shows—Political Headache, Dialogues With Jagero, and Nutmegs & VAR—which collectively reach over 3.1 million followers across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. Your core responsibility is ensuring every episode we publish succeeds through three critical elements: compelling thumbnails, high-performing social media cuts, and engaging captions. Performance is measured by CTR, watch time, and follower growth—not portfolio aesthetics. WHAT YOU BRING You possess a natural visual hook instinct and can identify the most clickable moment in raw footage without detailed briefing. You excel at headline writing, crafting tight, curiosity-gap copy in three to five words. Your cultural fluency spans Kenyan politics, English Premier League coverage, and TikTok trends—because you live in that space. You are self-sufficient in video editing using CapCut or Premiere and can independently extract frames. You have a proven portfolio with attached CTR data demonstrating real results.
